In the Field: A Field Experience Manual for Internship and Service Learning Students provides readers with practical advice to help them prepare and conduct onsite field training in a variety of applied professions. The manual is appropriate for undergraduate or graduate programs and assumes that internship and service learning placements often occur outside of clinical mental health settings. Dr. Lisa A. Hollis-Sawyer is an associate professor in the Psychology department, a Women and Gender Studies core faculty member, and the coordinator of the Gerontology program at Northeastern Illinois University. She received her doctorate degree in industrial gerontology from The University of Akron and conducted her post-doctoral NIA-NIH training at Boston University.
