Elijah Honaker enjoys time living the hermit lifestyle in his cabin in the West Virginia Mountains, until one day when he feels a foreboding feeling from the Almighty God. Hearing national news on his radio, Elijah learns the battle over abortion has intensified to where pro-abortionists are attacking anti-abortionists in dangerous ways. Elijah, through prayer and reading his Bible, believes God called him to end abortion in America, in the new Christian fiction book by author Batt Holliday, Cometh Elijah. In a true "David and Goliath" experience, Elijah goes from being a recluse to a Christian campaigner while forming an anti-abortion organization. God's promptings of leadership doesn't come without enemy attacks on Elijah and his fellow Christian supporters, from arson to negative reactions from people. Yet the group seeks God in the spiritual warfare and believes He is using ordinary people for extraordinary things, as with Elijah's biblical namesake.
