The fourth and last book of My War, the story of a bilingual Canadian pilot in World War II. Recalled from hiding and a marriage ceremony to provide reconnaissance on D-Day, Peter is shot down by friendly fire while crossing the channel. Forgotten for weeks by RAF/RCAF bureaucracy, Peter retreats to the English countryside where Dorothy and her girlfriends live.
