Contributor Bio: Hoena, Blake Blake Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about robots conquering the moon and trolls lumbering around the woods behind his parents house. He now lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, two kids, a dog, and a couple of cats. Blake continues to make up stories about things like space aliens and superheroes, and he has written more than 70 chapter books and graphic novels for children. Contributor Bio: Hoena, Blake A Blake A. Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where, in his youth, he wrote stories about robots conquering the Moon and trolls lumbering around in the woods behind his parent s house and the fact that the trolls were hunting for little boys had nothing to do with Blake s pesky younger brothers. Later, he moved to Minnesota to pursue a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Since graduating, Blake has written more than forty books for children, including retellings of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and the Perseus and Medusa myth. Most recently, he s working on graphic novels for Sports Illustrated Kids and writing stories about superheroes. Contributor Bio: Haus, Estudio Haus Estudio is a group of colleagues and friends who started as young self-publishers back in 1997 in Argentina. Their works have been published in USA, UK, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, and South America. Haus Estudio runs its own school of art and, as a group, organized the biggest Latin American comic-book convention, among many other shows and exhibitions. The group also travels around the country and abroad attending conventions and giving lectures. Haus Estudio is a multi-style arts studio, specializing in comics and illustration. Its offices are located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but the group works for various companies, publishers, and writers around the world.
