Publisher Marketing: REKINDLING OF HOPE "Take this as a warning" It is the year 2022. Planet Earth is in serious trouble, and an alien super intelligence called The Bearing has decided to intervene to stop humanity from imploding. The story traces the political and geophysical issues at play, while following the emotional lives of three key people involved in the plan to avoid disaster and save mankind in this dramatic science fiction novel. The Bearing created artificial intelligences and an alien space station known as Habitat to aid a human they have appointed as overseer. As part of the plan, the overseer has to implement a recovery strategy with the help of an associated support group which includes two women who are nearly opposite in character. As they work out their emotional issues, the world they should be protecting is starting to crumble. While issues in the South China Sea are solved, Pakistan's troubles and problems with associated terrorist groups threaten to bring the overseer to a complete nervous breakdown, and his mental stability is only saved by one of the women in his life. As the other woman returns to South America, starvation and a population crash in Egypt requires South America to substantially increase food production. Moving on to the United States and then China, Rekindling of Hope follows the political and economic problems affecting the countries as well as the emotional turmoil between the overseer and his female support group. A story of political warfare, shifting geographical and scientific schools of thought, sabotage, love, and a journey to worldwide reform, Rekindling of Hope promises nothing less than a spectacular view into the impending future of planet Earth, if completely new political and economic reforms cannot be achieved in time. The book should be taken as a warning of what might happen if current political and economic problems are not addressed effectively.
