Helpless in the System
Alexander Vancel
At the age of ten, like so many other children, Alex was faced with his parents? unexpected divorce. His mother and her parents would go to great lengths to demonize not only her soon to be ex-husband, but also her eldest son, Alex. During this fifteen month period, Alex?s mother increased his daily dosage of Ritalin and admitted him to a mental institution without his father?s consent. This is a heartwarming tale of how one little boy managed to cope with life?s unexpected turns, while waiting to be reunited with his father and the love of his true family.
