Whistling Pines: a Mystery

When Axel Olson is found murdered in his Whistling Pines senior apartment, no one is surprised and there is no shortage of suspects or motives. Axel's claim of being a war hero comes quickly into question, and his shady money making schemes are exceeded only by the number of people he's crossed or cheated. Soon, a rumor of bagpipes at the Olson funeral arises and recreation director Peter Roberts is assigned the task of finding a piper in Northern Minnesota, where none seem to exist. With time running short, the search for the piper seems hopeless just as the list of senior citizens coming to see a piper balloons.
