Flying Free doesn't have a 'normal' straight storyline. It rather gives the children hints and tints of something they already know, seeds of creativity. Please encourage your children to make their own illustrations with paint, stickers and stars. The children can sing, dance, act or draw using this as their inspiration and guide. The book is made up of poems written by Mummakay and Tahlia, inspired by the "New Blue Planet" lovingly illustrated in montage by the author Mummakay and her friend Stuart Blatchly, with the characters designed by Helena Brewer.
