Solomon: a Play

"Solomon" is a three-act play inspired by the biblical story of King Solomon. The talking drum, reminding us of Bathsheba's African ancestry, takes the stage like a beautiful player in full command of her powers, and we laugh and sing and dance to the drum. Nevertheless, reverence and worship of God remain the beam that casts a splendid light on this delightful work, helping us see a well-known story from a fresh and original perspective.
