Wilkie Collins
Wilkie Collins was an English novelist, poet, and playwright writing in the mid 19th century. His writing was very popular consisting of 27 novels, 50 short stories, 15 plays, and over 100 poems. His best-known works were The Woman in White, The Moonstone and Armadale. Collins was greatly influenced by his friend Charles Dickens. Blind Love is the last novella written by Wilkie Collins. The setting shifts between rural Ireland, the busy streets of London and a small village in Belgium. Iris is in love with Lord Norland. They marry against the objections of her family. Iris chooses love over morality when she helps her husband commit a crime. She later finds out he was part of a murder.
