Dante was a late 13th century Italian poet from Florence. Divina Commedia is considered the greatest literary work composed in the Italian language and a masterpiece of world literature. Dante has been called the ?Father of Italian Language?. Convito, "The Banquet" is a collection of Dante?s longest poems with an unfinished allegorical commentar.
