Thirty Tales from Quarantine
K McDevitt
When the COVID-19 pandemic hits, it changes everyone's lives. For Nik and Sweetie, it means closing down their nightclub. For Jamie, it means an abrupt end to what might be his final hockey season. And for Olly, it means leaving home to stay at the hospice fulltime. But amidst the change and chaos, there are still lives to be lead. There are still moments of happiness and hope. From surprise gifts to anticipated drag performances, from connecting with loved ones virtually to getting ready to welcome a new family member, from new roles to new loves, the members of this found family navigate a tumultuous time in their own ways. Join the gang in this collection of short stories set during the pandemic in the spring and summer of 2020.
