Cyril Fox
Sir Cyril Fox (1882–1967) was an archaeologist and Director of the National Museum of Wales. This book, first published in 1923, is his pioneering doctoral thesis, in which he developed the geographical approach to analysing changes in ancient settlement patterns. This approach influenced later environmental and landscape archaeology.
