Koala's live in Australia. The koala eats Eucalyptus leaves. It eats so many leaves, it smells like the leaves. The koala will eat 2.5 pounds of food a day. Like all marsupial babies, baby koalas are called joeys. Did you know that a koala joey is the size of a jellybean! It has no hair, no ears, and is blind. Joey's crawl into their mother's pouch immediately after birth, and stay there for about six months. Isn't that amazing?
We hope you enjoy learning about this awesome creature! Also, don't forget to complete the super FUN activities at the end of this workbook!
