My Book of the Dead

My Book of the Dead is dedicated to all my relatives who bear the surnames of Curran, Curraidhin, Lydon, Scanlan, Scanlon, Cox, Hammer, Dwyer, Gallagher, Wintermantel, Codori and all the others. You know who you are. With special mention of husband Edward D. Wintermantel Jr., daughter Cristin Curran Wintermantel, son-in-law Chris Buckley, and sister Mary Pat "Mur" Curran. Aine ni CurraidhinThis is some of Ann Curran's best work, so far (I feel I can say this with some authority, as I have published three of her books). The section entitled Grandmas, Santa Clauses, Einstein, A-Bombs, Dirty Desks, in spite of how irreverent it sounds, is filled with a plethora of insightful poems.
