Living on top of their parents' soul food restaurant in downtown Chicago, Bakari and his younger sister Connie didn't have any neighborhood kids to hang out with or a back yard to play in. Cooped up in the house most of the time, the siblings were often bored and lonely. Because Bakari only liked sports and Connie only liked fairytales, they never agreed on things to do together. Instead, all they did was bicker. So one day, the siblings made a secret wish that they felt would solve all of their problems. A few days later Bakari and Connie's parents take them on a surprise outing to the castle of Fairytale Island. During their outing, the children could feel that there was something strange about the castle and the statues in it. Soon the children would come to discover a hidden secret and come face to face with the consequences of their wishes. Will the siblings ever find satisfaction in the company of one another ?
