Some Kind of Freak

When Jude Horridge's grandmother dies unexpectedly, he panics. He puts her body in the freezer, alongside the frozen pets that are the subjects of his taxidermy. He is alone for the first time, except for the familiar voices inside his head.

As he waits to be found out by the police, he begins to step away from Gram's rules. He falls for fiery Beth with her spiked hair, and makes an unlikely friend. He starts to guess at the true meaning of 'family'. When times get dark and as his voices get louder and angrier, will he find a way to believe in himself?
