Cottage Pi
Graham Burchell
"Cottage Pi contains a wry observational tone, finding poetry in the ordinary small detail, a sense of a located author engaged in psycho-geography. It moves through forms and the voice is convincing, shifting in tone from a dry sense of humour to visionary transcendence in key epiphanic moments." - Bob Beagrie & Andy Willoughby
Born in Canterbury, Graham Burchell is an award-winning poet who has lived in Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Tenerife, Mexico, France, Chile and the United States. He is the author of Vermeer's Corner (FootHills Publishing, 2008), The Chongololo Club (Pindrop Press, 2012), and Kate (Indigo Dreams Publishing, 2015). Cottage Pi, his fourth collection won the 3rd Prize in the SPM Publications Poetry Book Competition 2014/2015.
