The line was usually met with laughter, guffaws, and sometimes a note of dread. The early years in the quest for equal employment and education opportunities were marked by starts and stops, twists and turns. Sometimes the 180º shifts were due to changing administrations. Sometimes the internal workings of supervisors and staff generated its own turmoil. In this book, a career EEO administrator shows us some of the starts, stops, and shenanigans of the early years.
