Travels Through Absence
Christopher Thomson
Lovers separated. A letter written. A lonely voice calls out from the centre of a city. The city echoes. Lisbon, Belgrade, Paris, Vienna, Mostar, Bratislava, Prague, Budapest, Edinburgh, Berlin, Venice, Stockholm, Munich, Thessaloniki, London. A kaleidoscopic journey across Europe in search of connection, Travels Through Absence is an intimate reflection on the spaces we share and the distances between us. This newly-revised second edition features a photographic prologue and a further chapter to one last city in an attempt to bring the journey closer, finally, to some kind of arrival.
