He trained as a carpenter and also enjoys sewing, cooking, gardening, and painting. Contributor Bio: Lundin, Maria Anna-Stina Linden Ivarsson works as a fashion reporter for several major Swedish newspapers and magazines, and has a degree in art criticism. Katarina Brieditis is an industrial and fashion designer, whose practice is driven by the "pleasure of the eye." Katarina Evans is a handicraft specialist with an embroidery focus, who works in the textile industry. Maria Lundin has translated a number of children's books from Swedish, including the young adult novel "God and I Broke Up" (Groundwood, 2005). Maria grew up in Stockholm and now lives in Toronto.
