Cam Chameleon and Marla Crab's relationship does not get off to a very good start. In fact they don't really like one another at all.
When Marla Crab and Cam Chameleon find out that they have been abandoned on their sinking island by their friends, they soon realize that they are going to have to put their differences aside and work together if they are ever going escape.
Discovering that their friends have been captured by dangerous Penguin Pirates leaves Marla Crab and Cam Chameleon with a difficult decision to make. Should they float away and forget that they ever knew these creatures that abandoned them on the island. Or should they risk their own lives and try and rescue their friends from these meat eating, dangerous Penguin Pirates.
What they need is a super fantastical plan and superhero capabilities.
Can they succeed? Only time will tell.
This is a fun adventure story for literally all ages. There are underlying truths in this book about the importance of forgiveness and friendship.
That we all have our own individual talents and even though some of us may take a little longer to find what our talents are, that's ok. We are all different and that's what makes us so very special.
Inside each and every one of us lies a superhero with amazing super powers.
All we need to do is to be the best us we can possibly be, to set the super hero in us free.
