Maureen is a timid girl, innocent in many ways. Then one spring day, she catches a glimpse of a tall young man walking down the hallway of her office building. Something jumps inside her, and she can't get him out of her mind. Her life changes dramatically. Maureen becomes determined to change into a "new" Maureen. She works had and discovers a strength in herself that she hadn't realized she had. Finally, she meets the man from that spring day. His name is Michael. It is a time of great change for women and Michael is something of a chauvinist. But in spite of their differences, love develops and deepens with in them. This is a love story, but also a story about a young woman who has the will and determination to make her drams come alive.
