Alien Homage: Edward Thompson and Rabindranath Tagore

Edward John Thompson was in West Bengal between 1910 and 1913 and wrote a major critical study of Tagore's poetry. This work by E. P. Thompson draws upon his father's collection of letters and journals, throwing light on unfamiliar aspects of the relations between the two men and their cultures.
