This Deco puzzle comes in a fun shaped box where you have to help Gurli Gris put all the pieces together. With this game, children have the opportunity to assemble puzzles with large pieces that are easy to hold and place. The box also works as a nice decoration in the children's room. 
When we put together a puzzle, we use both hemispheres of the brain, as we both have to visualize/imagine how the puzzle should look and at the same time find the pieces upside down and thus make the whole puzzle go together. There are many benefits to doing puzzles including development of the child's eye-hand coordination, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, color recognition, figure understanding, memory, problem solving, patience, social skills and relaxation and contemplation. For the smallest children, you should start with a simple puzzle with few and large pieces. As the child gets older, the puzzles should also become more difficult and contain more and smaller pieces.
