Anita, Bonnie, June & Ruth exploded onto the music scene in '73 in a burst of joyful song and thrift shop attire. They scored 6 hit LPs (including 1 best-of) for Blue Thumb before departing the label in '77. This is the 1st showcase of their significant early career; the recordings that secured them as one of pop's classiest and most enduring vocal groups. This set of R&B and jazzy jive contains the hits "How Long (Betcha' Got a Chick on the Side)," "Yes We Can Can," "You Gotta Believe," "Going Down Slowly," "Fairytale" and more (half the songs make their CD debut).
