He has life figured out as he tries to bridge the gap between his reality and his creeping depression. As events begin to cycle outside of his control, Johnny begins to see firsthand how different he really is from everyone else. Fade Away is based on the author's personal story of life, love, and the effects of depression; a tale that any teenager and young adult can relate to.
