The author has had to live through all the ins and outs and ups and downs before being able to put pen to paper, and his memories and story are well worth sharing. His early idea was to cobble together a few facts and events about his early life, a reminisce if you like, to leave his mark among family and friends. But once he began to write, a Pandora's Box was opened. Having had a catalogue of different jobs and did his National Service in the RAF, the foundations of his story were there. But this would be extremely boring. So he sprinkled in some humour, wove some of his charismatic personality amongst the facts, told a few more jokes and even more tales. Then a poem came to mind. And a smattering of spice from Singapore completed the picture.
