George received her BSc and PhD in computer science from the University of Reading, UK and MSc in Knowledge-Based Systems from Edinburgh University, UK. Dr. George has undertaken post-doctoral research at both the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences, University of Wales and the School of Computer and Information Science (CIS), University of South Australia. She is currently a senior lecturer in Computer and Information Science. Her research interests include artificial neural networks and pattern recognition with applications in biometrics, medicine, language learning and music recognition.
