Colors is a collection of poetry that began as an attempt to deal with the mundane emotional, physical, and spiritual complexities of that often neglected contemporary affliction known as the "Mid-life Crisis." The excitement and immortality of youth has ended and the melancholy reflections of the golden years have not yet begun. Adults are at their most productive and yet from the stress and pressure of children growing up, jobs, and changes in body chemistry, this is a time of great upheaval.
